Learn how to make cocktails featuring Del Maguey artisanal mezcal!
Electric Moon Skytop Lounge at Plant Riverside District will continue its “Mix It Up at the Moon” mixology series with two interactive cocktail classes featuring Del Maguey Vida Single Village Mezcal.
These hands-on experiences, offered in two seatings for the first time due to high demand, will be led by Del Maguey Brand Ambassador Stephanie Dietrich and Electric Moon’s Lead Bartender Jessica Wiseman. Attendees will learn how to make two mezcal cocktails, which will be thoughtfully paired with Mexican-inspired small bites prepared by the acclaimed culinary team at Plant Riverside District.
Del Maguey introduced artisanal mezcal to the world in 1995. Handcrafted by individual Zapotec and Mixtec farmer families, the company is known for producing some of the world’s purest and rarest mezcals. Del Maguey Vida is produced in the village of San Luis Del Rio in Oaxaca, Mexico using methods that are over 400 years old. Naturally fermented and twice distilled in wood-fired copper stills, Del Maguey Vida Clásico offers a nose of tropical fruit, honey and roast agave and a palate of ginger, cinnamon and tangerine with a soft finish.
Reservations are required to attend the “Mix It Up at the Moon” mixology class. The class is $50 per person (including tax and gratuity). Reservations for seatings at 5:30 p.m. or 8 p.m. are available at plantriverside.com.
