Jekyll Island

Outdoor adventure awaits you on Jekyll Island!

Jekyll Island is located off the coast of Southeast Georgia. One of four barrier islands of the Golden Isles, Jekyll Island is a Georgia State Park. Full of wildlife, campgrounds, beaches (including the must-see Driftwood Beach), bike and walking paths, and many kid-friendly activities.

History buffs will enjoy the ancient ruins and the historical district featuring buildings from the late nineteenth and twentieth centuries, including the historic Jekyll Island Club Resort.

The island is reachable via the Jekyll Island Causeway and requires an entry toll. No schools are located on Jekyll, so families must attend school in nearby Brunswick or St. Simons Island.
