We like to believe that Dorothy was referring to St. Simons Island when she said “there’s no place like home.” There really isn’t anywhere else quite like it!
St. Simons Island is the largest barrier island off the coast of southeast Georgia. Home to Sara & Cynthia of St. SiMoms, it’s the quintessential place to raise a family, with great schools, year-round seasonal activities, and engaging community events. Families and visitors will enjoy the beaches, boutique shops, golfing, parks, walking trails and bike paths, fishing, and historical sites.
Whatever brings you to St. Simons, make sure you come hungry! If there is one thing you should know about islanders, it’s that we like to eat and drink well. Whether you’re taking the kids (you can do this!) or you scored a babysitter for a night out, there will be no shortage of great options.
