The Penguin Project ® was conceived to give children with special needs an opportunity to participate in the performing arts. The story follows a fast-talking traveling salesman, Harold Hill, who cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys’ band he vows to organize. The catch? He doesn’t know a trombone from a treble clef! You’ll be moved to watch the cast members and their mentors perform in a show that’s fun for the whole family & is always inspiring.
