Kathleen Trumble is our teacher for this new class!

She comes to MAKERS with 30 years of early childhood education experience and is currently working on her Art Therapy practitioner certification.

Mini Makers is a hands-on exploration of art materials, color, shape and creation. Using their senses, your mini-artist will practice choosing and sharing materials while making, discovering and learning with their grown-up’s guidance.

Students and their adults will find joy in the messy journey of crafting a one-of-a-kind masterpiece together!

Artists are encouraged to bring in an upcycled button-down shirt or apron to wear in class. Each student will need an adult to attend class with them.

Intro to primary colors, color mixing inspired by the book. A tiny guest will visit during the story.

Create a hat from a newspaper or paper bag and loose parts.

Painting pigs with mud (chocolate pudding or dairy-free whipped cream)

Building a monster sculpture out of recycled items

Use tractor wheels and paint to make tracks. Make animal tracks with stampers.
