St. Simons Island's legendary skimboarding event is back for round 2!

Local and business owners organized this legendary skimboarding competition over 15 years ago. After three years of hosting competitions, Womp Off had its last ride following the fire at the original @southern.soul.bbq location. Years later, @cristikav and friends brought the competition back in 2022, hosting skimboarders ages 5 – 50+ for a day of fun in the sun! Things to know before you go 👇🏽

•9:30 am Check-in starts
•10 am Skim School with Randy
•10:30 am Menehune Games for kids hosted by @turtle.tides
•11 am Womp Off starts!
•Parking and bathrooms at Coast Guard Beach
•Proceeds benefit @fireboxsoul & @cisofglynn

After the competition, attend the FREE Womp Off Fest from 2-7 pm at Mallery Park, where you’ll find food trucks, fun and games for kids, award ceremonies, and live music by @doinkmusik, @squirtgunpartyband and more.
