If your households are anything like ours, you accumulate a lot of STUFF (ahem, not to point fingers, but we’re looking at you grandparents). If you find clothing, toys, and household goods you’d like to donate, there are plenty of options, including many wonderful nonprofit organizations that distribute the items (or funds from selling the items at their thrift stores) to those in need in our local community. Explore the options below for Golden Isles donations, including thrift stores, nonprofits, and buy nothing groups.

Doctors and Dentist Offices - Like hospitals, doctor’s offices can be stressful for children – even for routine check-ups. Toys are often provided to keep children occupied (which is helpful for both the children and the doctor/dentist).
Churches - Contact a local church as they may be looking for donations. Many churches offer childcare services and need items to keep children occupied. If your church doesn’t accept donations, they may be aware of other local organizations or families in need.
Preschools and Daycares - Toys in preschools and daycares take a serious beating! Most will gladly accept toys and books, as donations save them money and the time it takes to buy them new.
Let us know if any organizations we missed will accept Golden Isles donations.
