Banana Ball has taken the world by storm, and we are just as smitten as anyone else! The league consists of the Savannah Bananas, Party Animals, and the newest team, the Firefighters. Each team is unique though equally entertaining!
Historic Grayson Stadium in Savannah, Georgia, is home to the Savannah Bananas team, and lucky for us in the Golden Isles, it's less than sixty miles away. Read on to learn everything about seeing a Savannah Bananas home game.
Even before the popular Bananaland docuseries on ESPN+ came out, tickets to a Savannah Bananas baseball game could be hard to come by. But nowadays, it’s like winning the Golden Ticket to Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory!
Join the Banana Ball Ticket Waitlist to be entered into a ticket lottery for the upcoming season's pre-sale list. Typically, tickets are made available to the pre-sale list about two months before the game.
You can also join the interest list for the K-Club, a fan club turned $50 membership which guarantees you the opportunity to purchase Banana Ball tickets before they are released to the pre-sale list. (Note that we said opportunity to purchase! The membership does not guarantee you will get tickets should your preferred location sells out before your given time slot!).
Tickets to a Banana Ball game at Historic Grayson Stadium are $35 for general admission and $100 for the VIB experience when purchased directly from the Banana Ball site.
Many Facebook fan pages are dedicated to selling and swapping Banana Ball tickets. Unfortunately, three out of every five posts are likely scams. We have had success purchasing tickets from this Facebook group.
Things to note when purchasing from a Facebook fan page:
Gates open at 5:30 pm, and the show starts at 7:00 pm.
We can confidently tell you that arriving at 4:30 pm is NOT too early! You will find a lot of pre-game activity outside Historic Grayson Stadium, including players signing autographs and taking pictures. You might even catch a marching band or a flash mob dance party! The shenanigans are endless and should not be missed.
Over 80% of Grayson Stadium is open seating. Secure your seats before getting food or drinks. Like the tickets, good seats go fast!
If you have little ones with you, hit up the bounce houses and Dunkin Donuts batting cages and games at third base. Bounce house entry is $5 per child. We recommend doing this before the opening ceremonies at 6:30 pm, as they are too good to miss!
This is not the same baseball game we all came to know and love by watching The Sandlot on repeat. Self-described as the fastest and most entertaining baseball game, the players are incredible athletes and showmen!
Expect to see players break out into choreographed dances, epic scoring celebrations, a dancing umpire, the Banana Nanas (a senior citizen dance team), and the Man-Nanas (the Dad-bod Cheerleading Squad). You’ll also see plenty of participation from the stands and opportunities for fans to get involved, including the famous honoring of the Banana Baby. Check out the rules of the game here.
Owner and creator Jesse Cole wears a yellow tuxedo to each game. He is the ringmaster to the madness and will have you on your feet the entire game.

If you managed to get tickets to a home game, you better come hungry! Tickets are all-inclusive, offering all-you-can-eat burgers, chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, cookies, popcorn, Coca-Cola beverages, and water. Free concession lines are on the first and third baselines.
In addition to the inclusive food options, you can purchase snacks, sweets, and beverages at many other concessions around the stadium. If you’re feeling bananas, don’t miss out on the famous Garbage Can Nachos, which include three orders of nachos covered with cheeseburgers, hot dogs, chicken, jalapenos, and cheese, served on a garbage can lid.
Bananaland has three signature items: Savannah Banana Beer (we hear it’s excellent), Banana Split Cream Soda, and the specialty alcoholic drink, the Slippery Banana.
