Savannah Bananas Baseball has taken the world by storm, and we are just as smitten as anyone else! Historic Grayson Stadium in Savannah, Georgia, is home to the Savannah Bananas team, and lucky for us in the Golden Isles, it's less than sixty miles away. Read on to learn everything you need to know about seeing a Savannah Bananas home game.

Savannah Bananas Tickets

Even before the popular Bananaland docuseries on ESPN+ came out, tickets to a Savannah Bananas baseball game could be hard to come by. But nowadays, it’s like winning the Golden Ticket to Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory!

With that said, it’s important to note that there’s no other game in the world like Banana Ball, and they deserve every bit of the hype – especially considering that even after their shot to stardom, they have never increased the price of their tickets. Now that’s sportsmanship!

A Savannah Bananas game ticket is $25 each when you purchase directly from the Savannah Bananas site (or $75 for the VIB experience). Kids three and under do not require a ticket. If you find tickets being sold for more, those tickets were bought from the Bananas and are being resold via a third-party site, such as StubHub or Ticketmaster.

Pre-Game Festivities at Grayson Stadium

Gates open at 5:30 pm, and the show starts at 7:00 pm.

We can confidently tell you that 5:30 pm arrival is NOT too early! You will find a lot of pre-game activity outside Historic Grayson Stadium, including players signing autographs and taking pictures. You might even catch a marching band or a flash mob dance party! The shenanigans are endless and should not be missed.

If you have little ones with you, hit up the bounce houses & picnic tables at third base.

Over 80% of Grayson Stadium is open seating, including the green bench seating in the covered main grandstand, the first base bleachers, the covered top deck, and the picnic tables or bleachers along the third base line. Open seating is first come, first serve! We recommend securing your seats before getting food or drinks.

Don’t miss the opportunity to leave your lasting mark at Bananaland by signing the Fan Wall in right field.

Banana Ball

BaseballThis is not the same baseball game we all came to know and love by watching The Sandlot on repeat. Self-described as the fastest and most entertaining baseball game, the Bananas are truly incredible athletes and showmen!

Expect to see players break out into choreographed dances, epic scoring celebrations, a dancing umpire, the Banana Nanas (a senior citizen dance team), and the Man-Nanas (the Dad-bod Cheerleading Squad). You’ll also see plenty of participation from the stands and opportunities for fans to get involved, including the famous honoring of the Banana Baby. Check out the rules of the game here.

Owner and creator Jesse Cole wears a yellow tuxedo to each game. He is the ringmaster to the madness and will have you on your feet the entire game.

Food and Beverage

If you managed to get tickets to a home game, you better come hungry! Tickets are all-inclusive, offering all-you-can-eat burgers, chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, cookies, popcorn, Coca-Cola beverages, and water. Free concession lines are on the first and third baselines.

In addition to the inclusive food options, you can purchase snacks, sweets, and beverages at many other concessions around the stadium. If you’re feeling bananas, don’t miss out on the famous Garbage Can Nachos, which include three orders of nachos covered with cheeseburgers, hot dogs, chicken, jalapenos, and cheese, served on a garbage can lid.

Bananaland has three signature items - Savannah Banana Beer (we hear it’s excellent), Banana Split Cream Soda, and specialty alcoholic drink, the Slippery Banana.
