Family Friendly Sea Island Restaurants
The dining options available at Sea Island Resort are impressive! Don’t be intimidated by their Forbes Five Star award; many Sea Island restaurants are family-friendly, some of which you can enjoy straight from the pool or beach.
In addition to the resort property on Sea Island – Sea Island Resort owns The Lodge and The Inn at Sea Island, both of which are located on St. Simons Island. We’ve noted which island each restaurant is located on to help streamline things for you.
Please note that you must be a member or guest of Sea Island to gain access to the island. It's not open to the general public.
Snack Shack
Sea Island Resort, Beach Club, Sea Island
Enjoy lunch poolside or at terrace seating overlooking the family pool of the Sea Island Beach Club. Choose from burgers, sandwiches, fresh salads, kid’s boxes – and a full bar for parents.
Southern Tide

With possibly the most stunning view at Sea Island Resort, Southern Tide is oceanfront and entirely al fresco! Serving classic coastal dishes for lunch and dinner.
Wonderland

This old-time sweet shop is what kids’ dreams are made of… Candy-lined walls, sundaes, milkshakes, a coffee and smoothie bar, and much more!
(If your child is close to a meltdown or a sleep-deprived crash – consider yourself warned! You may want to save this when everyone is on the up-and-up.)
Sea Strike & Pub

Enjoy a game of bowling with the family while snacking on gastropub-inspired bites (and craft cocktails for parents) and catching your favorite team play on TV. Everyone in the family will have a blast!
River Bar

The River Bar offers elevated comfort food with a French flair, and a warm and inviting space with a gorgeous view. There are several menus, including a Lounge and Sunday Brunch menu.
*Casual attire is acceptable until 5 pm, after which a (reasonable enough for kids) dress code is enforced.
Tavola

Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Tavola is an authentic Italian experience featuring handmade dishes, an open pizza kitchen, and cozy booths.

The Market
St. Simons Island (not on resort property)
A grab-and-go market with outdoor seating offers breakfast and lunch, premade meal selections, local pantry items, wines, cheese, and gifts. Plan to spend a few extra minutes browsing!
Oak Room
The Lodge, St. Simons Island
Enjoy Southern favorites and signature dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There are several menus to choose from, including Afternoon Tea and Sunday Brunch. Trying to catch the bagpiper playing with the setting sun on the veranda – it’s a treat that adults and kids love!

Pool & Halfway House
The Lodge, St. Simons Island
Soak up the sprawling ocean view while lounging by the pool or nestled by the outdoor fireplace in the evening. Offering breakfast, lunch, grab-and-go, and pool service.
