Letters to Santa Station

Inside the King and Prince
Come visit Santa’s mailbox in the lobby of the King and Prince Resort. Send a letter to let him know what you'd like for Christmas. Elves pick up the letters at the end of every night and deliver them to the North Pole!
Redfern Village Christmas Tree Lighting

Redfern Village
Kick off the holiday season in Redfern Village by joining in the magic of the Second Annual Tree Lighting. Dress your dogs in their holiday best for the dog costume contest. Enjoy live music, sidewalk sales, and Santa!

Postell Park
Mistletoe Markets is a two day festival of fine art, fab gifts, entertainment and family joy in a festive island holiday atmosphere. Accomplished artisans and artists share their art for your holiday giving, including: pottery, jewelry, sculpture, photography, woodworking, baskets, fabric and mixed media. It’s the perfect opportunity for residents and visitors alike to find that one-of-a-kind purchase or gift for the holiday season. And we won’t tell if you buy something for yourself.

We will turn on over 1,000 Christmas lights. The Christmas cheer and fun starts at 5pm. Food trucks! will be on campus, Tempest BBQ, Sonia’s Kitchen, and Greg’s Junkyard Dawgs! Photo Op with Santa Claus, new entertainment, hot chocolate station, children’s activity table, and more! Christmas cheer for the whole family. Our gift to the community, residents, and campus.
The Christmas lights will be on thru January 1st.
Fireside Stories with Santa
December 7th, 13th and 20th
King and Prince Resort
Santa Claus will share Christmas stories fireside at The King and Prince Resort. Cozy up with an expertly made hot chocolate as Old Saint Nick reads a classic holiday novel. This St. Simons Island holiday family-friendly event will be hosted on Tuesday, December, 7th, 13th, and 20th inside the resort’s grand lobby. Fireside Stories with Santa events are open to the public at no charge.

Casino Theater
Based on the beloved holiday film, this hilarious fish-out-of-water comedy follows Buddy the Elf in his quest to find his true identity. This is a kid friendly production put on by kids! The annual holiday shows often encourage audience participation and tickets sell out quickly!
Golden Isles Live Annual Christmas Show - The Sugar Plums

Mallery Park/Pier Village

Dress up your golf carts with festive decorations and lineup at Mallery Park at 12:30pm for a parade through the Village at 1pm, then stay for Santa’s arrival by pilot boat at the Pier around 2pm. Be sure to bring your camera! Donations of towels, sheets, blankets, and kitten/puppy formula are welcomed as an entry “fee” and can be left at Island Dog or St. Simons Bait & Tackle.
Postell Park

Shop up to 70 artists and crafters in beautiful Postell Park. Browse coastal art, decor, jewelry, pottery, furniture, photography, hanging chairs, specialty food, skincare, candles, soaps, glass art, birdhouses, wearables, and more!

We love this St. Simons Island holiday event. The King and Prince's Teddy Bear Tea is an annual tradition where children are invited for a holiday tea party and story time with Santa Claus. Each child will receive a plush stuffed animal upon arrival to keep as their own. This ticketed event features an assortment of festive treats and refreshments. Please note all children must be accompanied by an adult. Teddy Bear Tea will be held on Sunday, December 17th from 1-4pm. Registration is required in advance via Eventbrite.
